Katrina Harry is a proud member of Esketemc First Nation (formerly Alkali Lake Band), of the Shuswap nation.
She graduated from UBC with a Bachelor of Arts, and then a Bachelor of Laws. While practicing law for 11 years, she has touched on many aspects of Aboriginal law, though for the last several years she has focused almost exclusively on child protection law, representing parents who have had their children removed, or whose children are at risk of removal. She has authored and edited numerous publications, chaired conferences, and taught law students and new lawyers about child protection law in British Columbia.
