Bio

Tracey was born and raised on the Penticton Indian reserve.  She has been with the Global Okanagan family since 1993. At 14 she produced and wrote her first documentary, Cause for Alarm. At 18 she hosted the community television program Kla-How-Ya, based out of Vernon. In 1988 she moved to the coast to acquire formal media arts training at Capilano University, with a scholarship from the Chief Dan George Memorial Foundation. She has won multiple awards for her independent work. Her lifelong passion is to become a fluent n’syilxcen speaker. She currently resides on the Penticton Indian Reserve where she manages her successful production company Of the Land Productions Inc.
