Golden Eagle Mask Prototype Complete
Golden Eagle has completed its mask design. It is pleated with an inner liner, and a wire sewn in above the nose so it can be formed to fit. There is also a space between the pleats to place a cut out blue shop towel piece for added protection.
Big Thank You to Tina Henderson, John Henderson, and Jody Lund for their expertise in developing this. We are now ready to begin making up the kits to go out to our wonderful volunteer sewers. We will collect the finished masks, put them through a disinfecting wash, then distribute them to our Elders and those around them. Extras will be sent to the DTES to assist in slowing the Covid 19 spread there.
